MDC recommends anglers head to St. Joseph

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Fishing enthusiasts in our area will want to take a trip to St. Joseph this month.

That's because starting today, anglers can begin keeping their catch they get from Krug Park Lagoon and Everyday Pond, as long as they have the proper permits.

The Missouri Department of Conservation says it's been stocking both bodies of water with rainbow trout since last year.

The MDC reminds anglers that with the proper permits, you can only keep up to four trout. For more information, call the MDC's office in St. Joseph at 816-271-3100.
