JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - Bills to ban public employers from requiring COVID-19 vaccination and ensure unvaccinated patients can still get organ transplants are advancing in the Missouri House.
The GOP-led House advanced the measures in a voice vote Monday. One bill would ensure people who are unvaccinated still get unemployment benefits if they're fired for not getting the vaccine.
Another would prevent doctors from stopping unvaccinated patients from getting organ transplants. Both bills need a second vote of approval to move to the Republican-led Senate.
