NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. - At its latest meeting, the Nebraska City Council got an update on shovel-ready grant applications for the Sports Complex and Veterans Memorial Building renovation.
City Administrator Louis Leone says that the ratings are important because the program will award around $15 million in grants across the state, but has received requests totaling nearly $300 million.
In other business, the council corrected the zoning of a property to allow Mission Field to operate a business in a residential zone.
