STANBERRY, Mo. - Schools across Missouri are dealing with food supply chain issues and it was a topic of discussion during the latest Stanberry R-2 Board of Education meeting.
Superintendent Bob Heddinger says fortunately, they haven't had a lot of problems with their contracted food service vendor LunchTime Solutions Inc.
However, Superintendent Heddinger adds that he told the board of education that just because things are good right now, doesn't mean they won't have food supply chain issues down the line.
Several larger school districts in Kansas City and St. Louis began experiencing these problems last fall.
