Trenton city council approves financing for improvements

TRENTON, Mo. - The Trenton City Council has wrapped up financing on water treatment plant improvements. At it's latest meeting, the city council approved a lease-purchase transaction with Central Bank of the Midwest.

City Administrator Ron Urton says bids should go out within the next month for the first phase of the project.

Improvements to the water treatment plant are expected to cost around $2.5 million.
