Allied Arts Council announces beer walk

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Allied Arts Council in St. Joseph is combining alcohol, history and homes. The 8th Beer Walk for the Arts is happening on May 14 in the Historic Museum Hill District.

Executive Director of the Council Teresa Fankhauser says the event starts at the Wyeth-Tootle Mansion before attendees embark on a walk to seven unique, historic homes.

Each house will have a variety of beers, sampled with foods from the area. More information, as well as tickets, are available at stjoearts.org.
