CRESTON, Iowa - One Iowa city is getting it's first ever dog park. At it's latest meeting, the Creston City Council approved a contract with C&J Conservation for the construction of Lexie's Puppy Patch.
City Administrator Mike Taylor says discussion on the dog park has been going on for about a year now.
Lexie's Puppy Patch will be built in McKinley Park. No word yet on when construction could start and wrap-up. The cost of the project will be nearly $77,000.
