DES MOINES, Iowa - Channel catfish are once again biting at lakes in the area, and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources has some tips for catching mud cats.

Fisheries Management Biologist for Iowa DNR Bryan Hayes also suggests using their website, iowadnr.gov, to find weekly reports, as well as maps on where to catch channel catfish.
