MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Maryville City Council quickly got through several new business items after several lengthy presentations.
Monday night's beginning began with an audit presentation, a review of local disaster planning and storm siren protocol, and a presentation on the Maryville Parks and Recreation tax that voters will decide the fate of next Tuesday.
After those presentations, which went on for over an hour, the city council approved the purchase of three dash camera systems for the police department, as well as the purchase of two mowers for Mozingo Lake, and approved a restaurant lease for William Coy's at Mozingo Lake.
