NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. - The Nebraska City, City Council can't ignore one popular sport anymore. At it's latest meeting, the city council approved a request to seek outside funding to construct two pickleball courts at Steinhart Park.
City Administrator Louis Leone says the approval comes after an increasing trend of people asking for pickleball.
The estimated cost of construction is about $55.500. All of the funding for the project will be through grants.
