MARYVILLE, Mo. - Northwest Missouri State University students can expect costs to increase next year.
At it's Thursday afternoon meeting, the Northwest Board of Regents approved a tuition increase of 4%, as well as a meal plan increase of 7.7%. Room and board saw no increase.
Vice President of Finance and Administration Stacy Carrick explains what this all means in terms of money.
Also under the tuition increase measure was a student employment fee increase, of $4 per credit hour.
This fee increase was supported by the Northwest Student Senate so that minimum wage amongst student employees on campus is increased.
