ST JOSEPH, Mo. - As spring comes back, so does a popular gardening program from the St. Joseph Public Library. The seed library allows people to get seeds for a variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers for free.
Branch manager for the downtown library in St. Joseph Jen Widlhagen says the seeds in the library are mostly provided from donations, which are also being accepted.
Seed packets can be picked up at the downtown library during regular hours. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
For more information, you can call the downtown library at 816-232-7729
