WASHINGTON - One of the best states for women is in our listening area, and unfortunately, one of the worst states for women.
According to WalletHub, Iowa is the eighth best state for women. However, Kansas was the 12th worst state for women while Missouri was the 11th worst state. Nebraska was in the middle of this list.
Wallet-Hub looked at several metrics, including the unemployment rate, income, graduation rates, voting rates, and several other factors. The best state for women was Massachusetts while the worst was Oklahoma.
