JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - One student in our listening area received one of the $1,000 scholarships issued by the Missouri Corn Growers Association and Missouri Corn Merchandising Council.
Jessica Janorschke of St. Joseph was one of seven recipients this year. Missouri high school seniors and college students entering their senior year pursuing a degree in agronomy or related field were eligible.
Candidates were scored and evaluated on essays, applications, letters of reference, current grades and activities.
