The Nodaway County Historical society is taking a look at the rich history between horses and our area.
Derby Day is happening tomorrow, from 2 pm to 4 pm, at the Nodaway County Historical Society Museum in Maryville. Attendees will be able to view updated exhibits on Nodaway County's equestrian history and learn more about its Kentucky Derby connections, including the 1904 winner, Elwood.
Visitors can also view past Kentucky Derby recordings and enjoy sample beers provided by Black Pony Brewing Company.
