Iowa DNR offers paddling tips as temps warm up

DES MOINES, Iowa - As the weather begins to warm up around the Midwest, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources wants to remind local lake paddlers to stay safe on the water this season.

Outreach Coordinator and Paddling Instructor with the Iowa DNR Todd Robertson says that it is imperative to dress for the water temperature, always wear a life jacket, and to keep your kayaks and canoes in good condition so that you can paddle safely.
