CLARINDA, Iowa - It's National Library Week and one library in our listening area has several activities for the week of April 4-10.

The Lied Public Library in Clarinda doesn't have any events today, but tomorrow, they will welcome Jen Loeb, the first Iowan woman to climb Mount Everest.

On Wednesday, Dr. Ed Epperly will visit to discuss his book, "Fiend Incarnate: Villisca Axe Murders of 1912." On Thursday, the library will have an outdoor clean-up day.

And on Friday, the library will have a jigsaw puzzle contest and puzzle exchange. More information is available at clarindapubliclibrary.org.
