MDC expands furbearing and trapping seasons

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation has approved the expansion of furbearer hunting and trapping seasons.

Statewide News Services Coordinator with the MDC Jill Pritchard explains that the increasing numbers of furberer species has allowed for a longer hunting ant trapping season.

The hunting season for bobcat, raccoon, opossum and skunk have been extended from Nov. 15 to the end of February. For more information, you can visit mdc.mo.gov.
