BETHANY, Mo. - An elderly woman is in serious condition after a wreck in Harrison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 79-year-old Edith Hovey, of Bethany, was driving a 2015 GMC Acadia on Findley Rd., south of Daily Rd. in Bethany.
The Patrol says at 1:28 p.m. Wednesday, Hovey fell out of the GMC, which then rolled backwards striking Hovey. She was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph by Lifenet. No word from authorities on why she fell out of her vehicle.
