JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Even with May drawing to a close, Missouri's governor is giving a new reason to celebrate the month of May.
Governor Mike Parson announced earlier this week that May will be Beef Month in the Show-Me state.
According to a press release from the Missouri Department of Agriculture, Missouri ranks third nationally in the number of beef cows with more than two million heads.
