GREENFIELD, Iowa - The Iowa Aviation Museum will be recognizing one Missourian from our listening area this summer.

Connie Rex Younger, who was born in Elmo in Nodaway County and graduated from Northwest Missouri State University, will be inducted into the Museum's Hall of Fame alongside Nicholas Turner.

Christina Schildberg, with the Museum, says there's a lot about Younger's resume that impressed them.

Younger not only taught aviation, but he logged over 20,000 accident-free pilot hours during his career, and received numerous awards and honors.

While Younger passed away in 2016, his family and friends will be remembering him when he's inducted on August 27 at the Museum in Greenfield, Iowa.
