DES MOINES, Iowa - Law enforcement typically encourages you not to pick-up hitchhikers, but this weekend wildlife officials are saying the same thing.
Coordinator for the Iowa Department of Natural Resources Kim Bogenschutz says people need to make sure they're not picking up aquatic hitchhikers like zebra mussels. To stop this, she says people should clean, drain and dry.
