CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - The Livingston County library is inviting families to join them on a grand adventure.
The family pirate scavenger hunt, which begins Monday, May 2 takes place all over Chillicothe as families stop by and pick up a scavenger hunt list from the youth library and hunt for clues. Those clues can then be unscrambled and returned before May 31 for the chance to enter a prize drawing.
Youth program coordinator Jodi Moore says that the businesses taking part are local, and that their library also holds a part of the puzzle families will need for a chance at the surprise treasure.
