BETHANY, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a Minnesota man is dead after a semi-truck crash in Harrison County.

The Patrol says 40-year-old Ibrahim Mohamud, of Lexington Neb., was driving the semi-truck on Interstate 35, about two miles south of Bethany, early Wednesday morning.

Upon entering a construction zone in the area at 3:50 a.m., the semi traveled off the road and struck a guardrail, before striking a concrete bridge rail and overturning.

Mohamud suffered minor injuries, but an occupant in the semi, 21-year-old Guled Abib of Minneaplois, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other details have been released.
