MSHP: Teen seriously injured in wreck

POLO, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a teenager is in serious condition after a wreck in Caldwell county.

The Patrol says the 17-year-old male from Kingston was driving a 2013 Chevy 2500 on Route D, five miles west of Polo.

At 7:25 p.m. Sunday, the Chevy went off the side of Route D, near Colt Road, striking a tree. The teen, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, was taken to Liberty Hospital with serious injuries.
