CLINTON COUNTY, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says one man is seriously injured after being ejected from his vehicle in a crash. The Patrol says Steven Jordan of Polo, 55, was driving a 2002 Chevy Silverado on Interstate 35 in Clinton County.

Around 10 p.m. Tuesday, the Patrol says Dakota Davis of St. Joseph, 27, who was driving a 2011 Chevy Silverado, attempted to overtake Jordan's vehicle, but instead struck the rear of the truck.

Jordan lost control of the truck and drove off the side of the road, which led to him overturning several times and being ejected from the vehicle.

Steven, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Liberty Hospital in serious condition, while Davis, who was wearing his seatbelt, was transported to Mosaic Hospital in St. Joseph with only minor injuries.
