MARYVILLE, Mo. - Even while work continues on South Main in Maryville, the city council is already looking at another potential road project.
At Monday night's meeting, the city council approved a $39,500 contract with Kimley-Horn and Associates for a preliminary engineering report on North Walnut, between 1st and Prather.
City Manager Greg McDanel says the city has overlaid North Walnut for years as a band-aid.
As for when work could start once the engineering report is completed...McDanel wasn't sure about the last time work like this has been completed on North Walnut.
