ROCK PORT, Mo. - Starting today, motorists will have to find a new way over Interstate 29 in Atchison County.
The Missouri Department of Transportation says contractors from Emery Sapp and Sons closed the Route 111 overpass over I-29 to all traffic.
Crews say the bridge, which is just south of Rock Port, is in need of rehabilitation and will be closed through July. A signed detour will lead motorists to U.S. Route 136 over I-29.
