MARYVILLE, Mo. - The dreaded orange construction cones are back up on U.S. Route 136 east of Maryville.
The Missouri Department of Transportation say the Long Branch Bridge has been closed to all traffic due to structural concerns.
MoDOT says crews began monitoring the bridge during construction of the Mozingo Creek Bridge. Officials say the same detour route used during the construction of the Mozingo Creek Bridge will be used again.
That detour takes drivers on Routes F, N, M and J. MoDOT adds that the project is scheduled to continue through August 20-22.
