WASHINGTON - With many reflecting on the lives lost this Memorial Day, a new report shows where WWII veterans are nowadays.
According to porch.com, which is involved with about two out of every three U.S. homebuyers, Missouri is home to 11,083 WWII veterans, the 14th most in the nation and the most in our listening area.
The website adds that the total veteran population of the Show-Me state is 391,513. The list also shows Kansas ranked 24th, Iowa ranked 28th and Nebraska ranked 33rd.
