ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Buchanan County Opioid Task Force and City of St. Joseph Health Department will be in downtown St. Joseph this evening to recognize National Fentanyl Awareness Day.
In the Felix Street Square, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., people will be able to learn more about the landscape of drugs in St. Joseph.
Local residents will talk about how fentanyl poisoning has impacted their lives followed by a Q&A session. That session will feature representatives from various law enforcement agencies and treatment centers.
Today marks the first National Fentanyl Awareness Day.
