STANBERRY, Mo. - At its most recent meeting, the Stanberry R-2 Board of Education received good news when it comes to the district's five-year building of the grounds plan.
Superintendent Bob Heddinger says the plan is ahead of schedule.
Heddinger reports that the new weight room is completed, and that the ag building is moving along well after weather allowed the project to resume.
The previous ag classroom and shop has begun renovations as it will be the site of a new elementary classroom, and that project has begun two weeks ahead of schedule.
The playground project is waiting on dirt and concrete work, all other materials are on sight, and they hope to begin construction on the first of June.
