Albany Board of Aldermen approves fiscal year budget

ALBANY, Mo. - The City of Albany reports all things are go when it comes to their Fiscal Year budget for 2022-23.

The city board worked on the budget for two months, and reports that at their most recent Board of Aldermen meeting, they settled on a budget of around $7 million.

City Administrator Derek Brown reports that there are no big projects in the wings for Albany, and that the new budget will just be for normal maintenance costs of Albany. The budget will come into effect this Friday.
