POLO, Mo. - The Caldwell County Sheriff's Department says it has made an arrest in connection with several arsons, including one that was deadly.

27-year-old Harold Edwards Jr. of Kansas City was arrested last Friday in connection with the three fires that happened back on May 10 near Route D and Colt Drive in rural Polo.

Edwards has been charged with three counts of second-degree arson, three counts of second-degree burglary and three counts of first-degree property damage, but additional charges are expected once an autopsy is complete on 96-year-old Lorrene Fickess.

Edwards is being held in the Caldwell County Detention Center without bond.
