CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - The Strand Apartments in Chillicothe might find themselves a new manager in the next coming months, as the city council discusses taking over the low-income apartments.
The decision would come with the city taking on a $208,000 mortgage, however they plan to work with Zabka Properties to revitalize the apartments.
City Administrator Roze Frampton adds that Zabka Properties would also claim ownership of the apartments after the transition, however discussion of the decision has been tabled until June 13.KXCV-KRNW
