Chillicothe city council discusses flower program funding

CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - A one time expense of $6,000 is saving Chillicothe's downtown flower pot program. At Chillicothe's most recent city council meeting, a service contract with Chillicothe Mainstreet was discussed.

Mainstreet provides a downtown flower pot program, however this year's costs exceeded expectations, as the cost of maintenance increased. The program has been going for several years now, and the program will continue, however...
