CHULA, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says an elderly Chillicothe man is dead after a UTV wreck. The Patrol says the wreck happened around 4 p.m. Sunday on private property about two miles south of Chula.
Authorities say Russel Bowe, 82, was driving a UTV in a field along Medicine Creek when his UTV slid on a mud embankment and overturned, ejecting Bowe who was crushed by the UTV.
He was pronounced dead, at the scene, just after midnight Tuesday.
