JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - June is known for a lot of things, but Missouri Gov. Mike Parson is making it known for another.
Parson recently proclaimed that June is Dairy Month in the Show-Me state. According to a press release, Missouri is home to 332 Grade A dairy farms and 151 dairy manufacturing locations.
The Missouri dairy processing industry provides two-point-two billion dollars in economic value to the state's economy and creates more than 22,000 jobs.
