DES MOINES, Iowa - It was a bountiful year for hunters in Iowa.
Upland Wildlife research biologist with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources Todd Bogenschutz says that a small game survey reflected the general reports that two-thirds of Iowa had a really good pheasant hunting season.
Landowners interested in improving pheasant hunting on their land are encouraged to reach out to the staff with the D-N-R's private lands program at iowadnr.gov/crp.KXCV-KRNW
