DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking input on future infrastructure in the state. Over the next five years, Iowa is expected to receive a little over $51 million from the infrastructure bill passed last year.
One of the things Iowa is interested in is pursuing a Statewide Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Deployment Plan to establish a national EV charging network.
Public comments are open through June 24. You can give your input on the future of Iowa infrastructure at iowadot.gov/iowaevplan. The state is required to submit its deployment plan by August 1st
