MDA announces additional funding for program

crops

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Agriculture is now accepting proposals for additional funding through one of it's programs.

The new funds through the Specialty Crop Block Grant program are thanks in part to COVID-19 funds. Interested residents, organizations, or institutions must submit an application for funds by July 13.

The MDA will consider grant awards up to a maximum of $50,000 for a specific project, with a grant period beginning this fall and ending in February 20-25. More information as well as the application form can be found at agriculture.mo.gov.
