MOUND CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation wants families to seek refuge this weekend.
The MDC is offering a free family fishing day tomorrow at the Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge near Mound City from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The fishing will be at the refuge pond located near the main entrance for the auto tour at Route 1-59. The M-D-C will provide all tackle and bait needed as well as coaching help for newcomers to fishing.
