JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation needs your help. The MDC just opened a survey for the public to keep track of the wild turkey population, and it is now up to the public to report sightings of the wild bird.
Jill Pritchard, News Coordinator for the MDC, adds that the MDC has conducted this survey every year since 1959.
The survey will be open through the end of August. For more information and to register go to short.mdc.mo.gov/4IK
