MO motorcyclist injured in Atchison County wreck

TARKIO, Mo. - A motorcyclist is in serious condition after a wreck in Atchison County over the weekend.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 41-year-old Joseph Rhoades, of Mound City, was riding a 2008 Harley on Route O, about three miles northeast of Tarkio.

At noon on Saturday the Harley crossed into oncoming traffic colliding with a 2007 Chevy Silverado. Rhoades was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph by LifeNet. The driver of the Chevy wasn't harmed.
