JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Successful transitioning of farms through families doesn't happen overnight and that's the purpose behind one upcoming workshop.
Wesley Tucker, Field Specialist in Agricultural Business and Policy, says that transitions take planning, and, most importantly, communication.
To make it easier on farmers, Tucker and the University of Missouri Extension Team will be bringing workshops throughout Missouri, with one landing in the KXCV/KRNW listening area's front door.
One of the workshops will be held in Savannah on July 29. Anyone else interested can join a Zoom conference on August 10. To register for the event, visit muext.us/abpevents
