GOWER, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says two people were injured after a two-vehicle wreck in Buchanan County over the weekend.
The Patrol says a 2004 Honda Civic and 2000 Jeep Cherokee were stopped on U.S. 169 Highway, about four miles north of Gower.
Authorities say at 9:58 a.m. last Friday, a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica slammed into the back of the Jeep creating a chain reaction wreck involving all vehicles.
The only injuries were in the Jeep, 71-year-old Russell Plummer suffered moderate injuries while 70-year-old Diana Plummer suffered serious injuries.
Both of them were wearing their seatbelts and were taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
