SAVANNAH, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says two women were injured in an Andrew County wreck involving a golf cart.

The Patrol says 47-year-old Shelly Wampler of St. Joseph was driving a golf cart on Route E, near Dogwood Court in Savannah.

At 12:36 p.m. Thursday, Wampler failed to yield to a 2007 Nissan Altima driven by 27-year-old Sammy Walker of Savannah.

The head-on collision forced the golf cart off the road. The crash report didn't list what hospital Wampler was taken to, but she suffered serious injuries. Walker suffered minor injuries.
