MARYVILLE, Mo. - In today's world, it's important to make sure that your child is seen regularly by their provider.
However, according to a press release from Mosaic Medical Center in Maryville, children shouldn't just go when they're sick, but should also see their doctor when they are healthy as well.
One big reason for having your child see a doctor, even though they aren't sick, is immunizations.
Traci Price, an LPN and Immunization Nurse at Mosaic, adds that children should also be vaccinated because of school requirements. Those requirements include shots for tetanus and polio.
