JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - A new report is making the case for public and private investment in broadband internet for rural areas in Northwest Missouri.
Alan Spell, assistant extension professor in agricultural and applied economics at the University of Missouri, says that comes from the report called "Economic Benefits of Expanding Broadband in Missouri."
He adds that those without access to broadband during the pandemic were at a disadvantage as the world continued to evolve.
