ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The St. Joseph Health Department is teaming up with the Buchanan County Opioid Task Force to host training sessions for people looking to give back.
This training will allow participants to become Missouri Recovery Support Specialists, allowing them to work as staff or volunteer with people with a behavioral health disorder.
Nancy King, Health Educator with the Health Department, says Buchanan county residents will have their registration fee covered by a grant.
Training happens June 14-16 at the Remington Nature Center. For registration or more information, call 816-236-1491.
